The year 2018 marked the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. To celebrate this Christian holiday, the Temple Neuf produced the artistic piece, The Bible: A Garden of Life.
Utilizing ten pieces of clothlike material adding up to 66 m2, it has become an attraction to both locals and tourists. The grandeur of the artwork should be appreciated in it of itself, but the true beauty lies within each passage printed.
With questions and painted artwork throughout the panels, the visitor is made to stop and reflect on what is the Bible. The French Bible Society has partnered with the artists at Temple Neuf to be able to utilize the artwork for future projects.
